Become a Mentor

She Is Becoming – Mentoring Program

Walk beside her as she becomes.

She Is Becoming is a gentle, strength-building mentorship journey for girls ages 12–17, created to support identity, emotional well-being, confidence, and inner leadership. This program is about presence before performance, identity before achievement, and guidance rooted in care.

We are inviting mature, grounded women to serve as mentors—women who are willing to hold space, listen deeply, model healthy womanhood, and walk alongside girls as they discover who they are becoming.

This is not about fixing or directing. It is about witnessing, guiding, and walking with intention.

What Mentors Do:

  • As a She Is Becoming mentor, you will:

    • Meet weekly with your assigned mentee(s)

    • Create a safe, respectful space for conversation and reflection

    • Support themes of identity, confidence, emotions, relationships, and purpose

    • Model healthy boundaries, self-respect, and inner leadership

    • Participate in occasional mentor reflections and debriefs

    • Uphold the values and spirit of Echoes of Silence

Mentors are not problem-solvers or authority figures. You are a steady presence and trusted guide.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking women who:

  • Are emotionally mature, self-aware, and grounded

  • Demonstrate leadership through character, integrity, and lived experience

  • Are compassionate listeners and thoughtful communicators

  • Value reflection, growth, and personal accountability

  • Can offer consistency, encouragement, and calm presence

  • Believe deeply in nurturing the next generation of young women

You do not need to have all the answers. You need to be present, steady, and willing.

What You Will Gain as a Mentor

Mentorship is a shared journey. As a mentor, you will:

  • Experience deeper self-awareness and personal growth

  • Strengthen emotional intelligence and leadership presence

  • Be part of a supportive circle of women mentors

  • Receive guided resources, reflection tools, and training

  • Make a meaningful, lasting impact in a young woman’s life

Many mentors describe this experience as grounding, clarifying, and deeply fulfilling.

What It Means to Be a Quiet Strength Mentor

Mentors are:

You do not need to be perfect — you simply need to be present, reflective, and open to learning.
